PLEASE help, can't get rid of viruses on my computer - what should I do??

I tried running housecall but it said it couldn't delete the malware, trojans etc that it found after it scanned my computer for 3 hours. My desktop's background has been changed to this stupid balloon smiling and I can't right click to remove it. There are pop ups that come on every few seconds, stuff downloading - I have lost control of my computer. I had to uninstall Norton because it made my computer way too slow and non functional. I am weary of downloading more crap from online to remove the viruses. It seems to get worse and worse. There's also some windows/frat/exe black window that pops up about every 5 minutes. SO annoying. PLEASE HELP if you know a solution. If you live in LA I can pay you to come down and do it yourself. I'm so fed up and want y computer back. I disabled the startup junk in msconfig which helped a tiny bit, but it says my firewall is disabled and it doesn't respond to unclicking it.

My girlfriend who I have been with for a year and 2 months now, who I love very much and would do anything for if she just asked is doing something I don't think is right. Well on one of the days she was hanging out with my girlfriend they decided to come over to my house. Her friend and I had gotten to know each other and had started to become friends. Well before I was even with my girlfriend when she was with her brother, my girlfriend had a crush on his sister! Well apparently this was still happening. Even more strangely her friend also liked me. Ill admit I sort of liked her too, but nothing that would threaten our relationship. Talk began of a . My girlfriend was totally into the idea, so was she. So we all three started trying things with each other. Nothing too ual just a little experimenting. Anyway after this happened her friend really started liking me. But my girlfriend also realized the whole thing was not what she wanted at all and regretted the whole situation. After she left town she was talking to me behind my girlfriends back. I eventually put a stop to it because i didn't want problems caused in my relationship. Well its a few months later now and things aren't very good. She is still texting her and still talking to her. She knows how much I love her and what i would do for her... It's like she just doesn't care. I ask her to stop. I beg her. I tell her it hurts me that she is still in contact with her. She just doesn't care. She tells me i'm being controlling. I recently started a new user profile in Windows XP and no matter how many times I right click on the "Tour Windows XP" and "File and Settings Transfer Wizard" shortcuts and select "Remove from this list", they always reappear in my start menu. The Profile has all admin privileges and I've also tried simply viewing the tour and using the wizard, and still they always return. Any help?

Im 13 and im turning 14 in august. A couple of month ago, i told the girl i like that i liked her. How do you get over a person whom you loved the most at one time/still do?

I know what that's like. I'm dealing with a situation very similar to that right now. It really does make you feel like crap, because you keep thinking "What did I do wrong?" and it really screws with your head. It takes a minute to have a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, a day to fall in love with someone, and a lifetime to forget/move on from someone. You miss him a lot, but the best advice I can give you is just move on. It will take a long time, I know, but over time it WILL get better. Maybe not 100%, but it will. I'm trying to do the same thing right now. It's not worth it to be friends with him if he's being like that. You deserve better, believe me! Keep your head held high! Computer Gurus, can you settle a debate please?

Me and a few of my techy-chums have been arguing over what definitions constitute spyware/viruses. My colleague who thinks he knows everything about computers said that a cryptographic key, ie a key-gen program, does not actually contain trojans or viruses. He hypothesizes that the anti-virus software has simply had their definitions picked up and downloaded as to deter uses from hacking or obtaining illegal p-codes. I have said that they do contain such nasties and should not be opened for fear of damaging your hard drive and data. Please tell me I am right. There's a small wager on this now.

3 yr old cat and 6 wk old puppy...?

Quick question... I just brought home my 6 wk old doberman puppy today... and my cat (who is already WAY shy, timid when around strangers) is simply acting crazy! She runs and hides, under beds usually, and won't go to any of her 'usual' spots (IE looking out the door, her favorite chair..ect). Skittles (the cat) was bottle fed from 3 wks old, and has never interacted with any other animals (except my parrot, who she's been around since she was a kitty)... do you think she'll ever warm up to the puppy?! As the puppy grows, it will be spending more time outside, and Skittles is never allowed out.. so I'm hoping she'll learn that the puppy isn't taking over her turf? Pocklington, Freeview, Echostar T101 FTA. HELP PLEASE?

I have the same box and am experiencing the same problem (in Norfolk). It has to do with how freeview channels are broadcast in preparation for the digital switchover. Apparently various other types of box are affected in the same way. I read on an iternet forum that Echostar will be issuing an OTA (over the air) update in early 2009 which should resolved the problem, although it said it was possible to send them your box and they will do the update now. If you do buy a new box or recorder it should be compliant and you should get everything in the right order and the guide back too.

And this out of control girl kicked in my moms door and broke her door lock. I haven't seen my daughter since 2months and I miss her alot. And to make matters worse I have to go to court and fight for my innocence and she hasn't showed up for any of the hearings because she says she feels guilty about what she did and doesn't wanna testify to her false complaint. How can I get my 2 year old to give up the pacifier?

My 2 year old son still uses a pacifier for his naps and bedtime. He will not fall asleep with out it unless he's in a car, no matter how tired he is. Random Access Memory, or RAM, is one of the main factors giving your computer speed. We all know that computers store all their data on a Hard Drive. But it takes forever for information to get from your hard drive to your screen. This is because information is stored on your hard drive in specific places. SAnd in order to read that information, your computer has to spin the hard drive and move the laser over that exact spot. This takes time. so what does a computer do to make it faster? It moves that information over to the RAM. RAM is a couple little sticks that exist merely to hold data. And any information on them is read VERY quickly by the computer. this way you have absolutely no slowdown when running your application. However, Your RAM can hold only so much data. If you have only 1 Giga Byte of RAM then you can only run one maybe 2 applications without any slowdown. And that doesn't even include the fact that your computer uses up a portion of your RAM constantly to help run your Operating System. For this reason, many people choose to upgrade their computer to have more Giga Bytes of Ram. Netbooks for example only have 1 Giga Byte of RAM because they are only really meant to use one application, the internet. But my Notebook has 4 Giga Bytes of Ram so I can run as many as I choose and still be nice and speedy. A baseling amount of RAM for todays computing needs is about 2 Giga Bytes. But like i said, it never hurts to have more. Hope you understood all of this :)

But then when I started thinking and contemplating on why Islam is right I realised how stupid I was being and I returned to Islam and vowed to relearn it from the first level so that I was sure that I wasn't mixing my culture or the views of certain sects into it. Does a clogged milk duct always end in mastitis if the duct is not cleared?

I think I have a clogged duct. I am extremely worried of mastitis developing. I have been doing the typical suggestions of pumping/nursing frequently, using hot compresses, mage, pumping leaning forward/on all 4s to have gravity help the milk move out. I cannot feel any particular lump or hard areas. My nipple is very sore. Sometimes when I am pumping I feel as if there is a rubberband or thread that is being pulled too tightly inside my . (imagery...maybe overactive thinking...but I picture it possibley being the little milk duct trying to let milk through and being suctioned without anything happening. This feeling is not constant but kind of comes intermittently. I have also gotten a kind of piercing pain that lasts just a short while when not pumping/nursing. So, the main question is if a clogged milok duct always ends in mastitis if the duct is not cleared. And honey you tell her to take everything that man has... down to his last damn pair of socks! If he breaks the restraining order he will automatically go to jail which I think he deserves to be. As for the other woman I understand she doesnt know her but there isnt much at the moment she can do. She just need to explain that her and daddy didnt get along to well and that there may be some new people in there lives, that they may not like thatm but Mommy will always be there for them to come home to. I'm Jewish, but a lot of my family is Christian. When a friend or stranger says Merry Christmas to me I don't mind at all. It's a nice thing to do! But that anger is not because of the merry Christmas wish itself, but because of certain family member's determination to use any means necessary outside of shunning to convert me the Christianity. But, Hanukkah falls anywhere from late Nov to late Dec, so you might be a month late. But the thought is still nice.

I have a skateboard that is warped. By warped I mean like if you took a popsicle stick on the ends beween your thumb and index fingers then twisted each hand opposite directions. All of the wheels never touch the ground all at once; at max 3. It is not too bad but great enough to affect your balance. The board is cheap so the kicktails wore down fast and there is not much pop. Could this affect my ability to learn the ollie? I can only do it stationary, never get very high (board has little pop) and the board always swings in odd directions so I have to shift position in the air like a shuvit. Now 30 weeks later for the past 3 months I have been coughing so hard that i'm constantly puking up phlym and sometimes even my food. There have been days where I haven't been able to keep any food down because my cough is so bad. I feel so tired and weak right now. My dr has prescribed a 5 day medication so i'm hoping that it works. I was just wondering if anyone else has gone through this and what does it sound like i have to you? Also will my baby be ok? Any wood will cause resins to build up in the chimney. Have it cleaned once per year, in the fall before you start using it. Call a chimney sweep. Pine is not the best wood for heating but it looks nice. If you really want some heat, hedge is a good wood if you can get it where you are. Apple, walnut hackberry, or locust are good too. Make sure you have a good screen or doors on the fireplace. Hedge can thow a lot of sparks.

So i met this guy at my friends party sometime during the summer. i saw the guy and thought he was cute and then i thought to myself that i'd like to get to know him. So i talked to him a lot at the party and then added him on myspace and facebook. on myspace he commented me first and we kept up a conversation for many weeks, just about normal stuff like school, sports, etc. We talk almost everyday on facebook now, and i have learned a lot about him and everytime i talk to him i like him more. he is smart, cute, nice, and athletic. well keep hanging out with them and when a conversation comes up that you know alot about then give your input. maybe you just need to get to know them a little better then you will feel more confidant talking to them. also once you get to know them better you will actually know what the like or dislike which are good things to take about.

for some reason, in my dream, there were the characters from the "king of the hill". they were visiting some place and hank was talking to this old guy who was apparently really good with gr. or growing gr. or something. and hank was asking him about it and he said something like "your all seeds, and whether your green or not, i'll use you." at this point in my dream it was understood that he was using dead people, who he was presumably killing, as fertilizer or something. so the next thing i remember hank, gr guy and al the residents of wherever the hell they were (a southern place with lotsa swamps.Louisiana?) were in this pond looking thing, and it was understood that hank had to kill this guy, and all the residents turned their backs, and pretended not to notice. hank smashed his head on a rock. then went chasing his wife through this shallow stream. when he caught her she asked if him killing her would hurt. then there was a cut to some kind of stork or large bird swimming with its wings spread underwater in the same stream. dale, a character from the same show, shot at it and presumably killed it. when he went to collect it, it flew away and he expressed much dissatisfaction.
