Help buying a snowboard?

Hey i'm just curious as to what i should look out for on cheap snowboards from say mc sports etc... from them all i want is a cheap *** snowboard that'll be good to learn on for a year or so.... and also can someone tell me a good price range too look for bindings and whether or not boots actually matter or if i can just get some cheap boots. Thanks!
