A Good Qu'ran Translation for Non Muslims?

I am a Christian, but really believe in Islam and want to take my Shahadah at some point. I took a course on Islam last semester, so I have a pretty good working knowledge of Islam. I want to read a translation of the Qur'an before I decide though. My professor recommended 2- one by Yusuf Ali, the other is by Abdel Haleem. Which is the most accurate, or is there an even better one?
