Conservatives, why do you dislike the idea of Workplace Democracy?

Why do you prefer a monarchy where the CEO and top executives receiving a salary that is up to 40x larger than the average employee? Not only that, but they get to make all the decisions which drastically affect the lives of the workers and the future of the company.
